Diligent Robotics announces $10M series A

In the midst of all that is happening in the world, today Diligent Robotics is moving on to the next chapter in our journey. We are announcing that we’ve raised a $10 million series A investment. DNX Ventures led the round, which includes continuing support from existing  investors: True Ventures, Ubiquity Ventures, Next Coast Ventures, and Grit Ventures, as well as two investors: E14 Fund and Promus Ventures.  We are thrilled that DNX Managing Director, Q Motiwala, is joining our board of directors. As we’ve gotten to know Q and the entire team at DNX, their expertise in B2B enterprise tech, especially hardware, makes them a perfect partner for the next stage of Diligent.

Since launching Diligent in 2017, we have had the opportunity and the privilege to work alongside hundreds of nurses, to understand their work, and help them redesign workflows to incorporate Moxi. Seeing the passion and humanity that nurses bring to their job has become the most inspiring part of our work. Every member of our team feels proud that we get to build something that makes a difference for nurses, because they are just amazing people. The emotional and positive response that our end users have to Moxi is what drives us.

Now more than ever hospitals are under enormous stress, and the people bearing the most risk in this pandemic are the nurses and clinicians at the frontlines of patient care. Our mission with Moxi has always been focused on relieving tasks from nurses, giving them more time to focus on patients, and today that mission has a newfound meaning and purpose. Time and again, we hear from our hospital partners that Moxi not only returns time back to their day but also brings a smile to their face.

We are excited that this new funding will enable us to scale and honored that we will be in a position to serve even more hospitals. We are dedicated to understanding their needs and streamlining their work, letting Moxi relieve some of the burdens on overworked hospital staff.
